COVID-19: Kuwait registers 740 new cases
Cairo: Kuwait has confirmed 740 new cases of the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours, a drop of 98 cases compared to the tally reported the day before, taking the country’s overall infections to 92,882.
Four more deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded, raising Kuwait’s fatality tally due to the disease to 556, Health Ministry’s spokesman Dr Abdullah Al Sanad said Thursday.
There are 90 patients receiving intensive care treatment, Dr Al Sanad added, according to the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA.
Kuwait’s total virus tests have reached 663,135 after 5,384 tests have been done over the past 24 hours.

The Health Ministry also said that the overall recoveries in Kuwait have climbed to 83,040 after 568 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
