Kuwait: Cleaver-wielding man robs forex store of KD6,000
Cairo: A cleaver-wielding person broke into a foreign exchange store in Kuwait and stabbed a cashier, Kuwaiti media reported.
The assailant made off with KD6,000 from the store in the area of Saad Al Abdullah, the reports said. The stabbed man’s condition is reported to be stable.
Police later arrested the suspected robber, Al Qabas newspaper reported, citing a security source. The 25-year-old suspect is an ex-con Kuwaiti who is a drug addict, the source added.
Police identified the attacker after they examined the surveillance cameras in the place and arrested him in “record time,” the source said.
The suspect had half of the stolen money in his possession at the time of arrest.
