An educational source revealed to Al Rai some of the details that were agreed in principle in the public education sector, including the mechanism for calculating absence, whereby a mark will be deducted from each student who fails to log on to the electronic portal for a week. Teachers will have the authority to calculate marks for students absent for a day or two.

The source pointed out that “the Education Ministry is receiving offers to boost communication networks in schools, which are currently being discussed, while teachers began training a day ago to use the e-learning sofware and how to prepare homework, meetings and electronic tests.”
