Kuwait registers 411 new COVID-19 cases, 3 deaths

Cairo: Kuwait Friday confirmed 411 new cases of the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours, 83 cases lower against those reported the day before, bringing the country’s overall infections to 106,087, the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA reported.


Three more deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded, raising Kuwait’s fatality tally due to the disease to 615, the Health Ministry’s spokesman Dr Abdullah Al Sanad said.

There are 137 patients receiving intensive care treatment, he added in an update.


Kuwait’s total virus tests have reached 753,775 after 2,621 tests have been done over the past 24 hours.


The Health Ministry said that the overall recoveries in Kuwait have risen to 97,898 after 701 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
