No Club Reunion, Jericho v. Omega on Twitter, Alexa on TLC Match

It was announced just a few days ago that Finn Balor’s opponent for the TLC pay-per-view tonight will be none other than AJ Styles. Styles will be replacing Balor’s original opponent, Bray Wyatt, due to an illness that the latter suffered in the weeks leading up to the match. It’s common knowledge that the two wrestlers are both former leaders of the Bullet Club stable, and with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows backstage, fans have been wondering if a possible reunion will take place at tonight’s show. Unfortunately, Karl Anderson confirmed that there will be no Bullet Club reformation tonight, and he will instead be watching the match on the WWE Network just like every other fan tonight.

Some fans were in for a shock when Chris Jericho insulted New Japan Pro Wrestling star and current Bullet Club leader Kenny Omega on Twitter today. It all started when a fan remarked that Omega had surpassed Jericho as the greatest wrestler of all time. Jericho responded by informing fans that Omega is “overrated,” and he criticized him for being an “indie” guy. Omega responded by calling Jericho a “corporate stooge.” It’s worth noting that Chris Jericho is one of the most notorious workers in the business, so this could all be an elaborate ploy. You can check out some of the tweets between the two down below.

Best in the world? @KennyOmegamanX isn’t even the best in Winnipeg… #overrated https://t.co/2uXmebv2QI

Save your love, you dumb idiot. I only work in the Big Leagues and I don’t care what #indiefans think…https://t.co/r4v1OmaV0S

Well jeez, what can I say? Never meet your heroes, folks, lest they be a corporate stooge. https://t.co/oGU6R9uCfZ

Alexa Bliss became the first woman to win the Raw and Smackdown Women’s Championships earlier this year, and she is currently holding the Raw title. She will be defending her title against Mickie James tonight at TLC, but her match does not have a stipulation. Most matches taking place at TLC do typically involve one (or all) of the stipulations listed in the title of the pay-per-view, so it may seem odd that Bliss’ match is just a normal singles match. While speaking with NBC Sports, Bliss revealed that she does not have a problem with her match having no stipulation. Bliss said, “I’m OK with it being a normal one-on-one. Of course stipulations are always cooler and more fun, but I feel like if we were to do a stipulation match it would have to be something that was driven towards the storyline that we’re doing right now. I’m talking about her being old, so it should be like a walker match.”
