Oman reports 664 new COVID-19 cases, total infections 104,129
Dubai: Oman on Thursday reported 664 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall infections in the Sultanate to 104,129, the Ministry of Health said.
According to the ministry’s latest update, nine patients have succumbed to the deadly virus, pushing the country’s death toll to 1,009.
Meanwhile, 402 patients have made full recovery, bringing the total number of recoveries to 91,731, with the recovery rate rising to 88 per cent.
Active cases stand at 12,398, including 559 admitted to the Sultanate’s various hospitals and healthcare facilities, while 214 are in ICU.
