Ronda Rousey Comments On Being In The First-Ever Women’s MSG Main Event
Last night WWE hosted its Holiday event at the Madison Square Garden and it was headlined by women as Ronda Rousey defended the title.
This marked the first time in the history of WWE running shows at the historic venue that a women’s match was the main event of a show in the MSG.
In the main event of the stacked show (the results of which you can see here), Ronda Rousey defended her WWE Raw Women’s Championship against Nia Jax in a rematch from their fantastic WWE TLC encounter.
It would be Rousey who successfully defended her championship in the match and she commented on the opportunity afterwards.
The match saw many of the women’s roster get involved and after winning she was lifted in the air by Natalya, Sasha Banks, and Bayley. Rousey shared an image of them stating that it was another day, another glass ceiling shattered.

Rousey added that she was so incredibly honored to share the ring with these amazing women to have the first ever women’s main event at MSG.
