Rumored Post-WrestleMania NXT Call-Ups for 2018 Revealed

We have seen the likes of Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, and Hideo Itami get the call to leave NXT and join WWE’s main roster in recent weeks. Now, another batch of call-ups have been reported, but these are not expected to be taking place until after WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans had ended. That means that these superstars likely won’t be debuting on the main roster until the Raw or Smackdown that follows WrestleMania. While these names could definitely change in the near future, it is worth pointing out that all of these names were posted in a recent article about 2018 NXT call-ups that was posted on not too long ago. Here are some of the names that are expected to be joining the roster in April, courtesy of Cageside Seats:
The Authors of Pain – Flanked to the ring by their manager, Paul Ellering, these two monsters known as Akam and Rezar rose to the top of the tag team ranks very quickly. The team were previously undefeated for months in NXT and they won the tag team titles on one occasion as well. The two have progressed nicely as a tag team, but have not had much of a role on NXT ever since losing the tag titles. No word on whether or not Ellering is expected to join the Authors on the main roster as of now, but it looks like there is nowhere to go but up for Akam and Rezar.
The Iconic Duo – Consisting of Australian wrestlers and BFFs Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, these two ladies have dominated the women’s division in NXT as the ‘mean girl’ team over the past several months. While neither woman has captured the NXT Women’s Championship, both have become adored by the Full Sail crowd in recent months. Much like the Authors of Pain, these two have developed into fantastic characters and should be arriving soon.

No Way Jose – Jose has not been seen on NXT television for weeks now, but given WWE’s love for dancing characters who just want to have fun, this call-up may seem inevitable. Jose is beloved by the Full Sail crowd for his dancing and antics in the ring, and he has been doing it since he debuted on NXT television one year ago.
