Saudi Arabia denies levying entry fees on foreigners entering kingdom

Cairo: Saudi Arabia has denied levying fees on foreigners and vehicles entering the kingdom.

“The embassy would like to note that there is no truth in circulated information about imposing fees for entering the kingdom on non-Saudis and vehicles,” the Saudi diplomatic mission in Kuwait said.

“The embassy hopes that accuracy will be observed and information will be based on official sources only,” it added on its official Twitter account.

Last month, Saudi authorities said that citizens, their non-Saudi family members and domestic workers, currently in neighbouring countries, can return to the kingdom via its land ports.

Foreigners accompanying Saudis are required to show a negative coronavirus test result.
