WWE Notes: Andre Documentary Premiere, AJ Styles, Weekend Schedule, more

— Some of the names in attendance at the Andre the Giant premiere on Thursday included: Vince Vaughn, Hogan, Paul Levesque, Stephanie McMahon, Cary Elwes (who starred in the Princess Bride with Andre), Gennady Golovkin, Bill Simmons, Rey Mysterio, Big Show, Mark Henry, Jimmy Hart, as well as Andre’s nephew Boris Roussimoff and Andre’s daughter Robin. Vince McMahon was not at the premiere but there will be another showing of the documentary on 4/7 before WrestleMania and he is expected to be there.

— AJ Styles confirmed that the injury he has been battling recently is to his knee but that it won’t prevent him from wrestling at WrestleMania. One person in WWE told us that the injury was indeed an MCL sprain and Styles was taken off of events to protect him and ensure that he didn’t make it worse.

— WWE is in North Charleston, SC (Raw) and Huntington, WV (Smackdown) on Saturday, while on Sunday they are in Macon, GA (Raw) and Lexington, KY (Smackdown). AJ Styles and Randy Orton are on both Smackdown house shows while John Cena won’t be at any of them. Cena, Ronda Rousey and Paul Heyman are all expected to be at Raw this Monday in Atlanta.

— WWE will be adding an Andre the Giant collection to the WWE Network on April 2. The collection will feature some of his best matches, including some rare footage. The following is the lineup, courtesy of WWE Network News:
