WWE Officially Splits Up Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler On Monday Night Raw
It looks like we have officially seen the last of Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre as a two-man wrecking crew on Monday Night Raw.
This week’s show saw Acting-General Manager Baron Corbin throw a celebration in honor of Drew McIntyre Appreciation Night, awarding the Scottish Psychopath with a “gold medal” of his own, after destroying WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle several weeks back.
McIntyre then revealed that he had used Ziggler as a means to an end, taking over Monday Night Raw as a tag team in order to set himself up in a position to become a major singles star. After a wild brawl between the two, Corbin booked them in an impromptu singles match that actually saw the Showoff pull out a surprise victory, thanks to a little distraction from Finn Balor.
McIntyre is currently scheduled to face Balor at the upcoming WWE TLC pay-per-view in just two weeks time.
